Measured Crop in FCPX was created by carlos.niño
Hi,
I am working on a 4:3 footage with FCPX and I want to crop it to a 16:9 but I can't find a way to do it in a cotrolled way. I can't crop using values, only scale the crop rectangle "by hand".
Is there a work around for this?
Thanks in advance!!

select the clip in the project, and check the options in the Inspector/Spatial conform.
'fill' will zoom the 4:3 to the actual Width of your project, for sure crops top/bottom. But with the Y parameter, you can adjust position, e.g. no faces are chopped off …
