Hi,

I gathered some footage over the space of a few hours this week. As we're almost in winter here in NZ, the light fades quite quickly resulting in different tones. The story doesn't support that amount of time passing, so I'd like to get a consistent look to the scenes, more or less so it looks like less time has passed that actually had.

There are a hundreds, probably thousands of you tube / vimeo videos how to colour correct which I assume I'll need to understand. Could someone give me a few hints as to how to proceed, or which videos will be the most helpful please?

Many thanks for any help in advance.
Colin

This youtube video is great -
. I'm thinking I'll watch all ones in Denver Riddle's color series.

This is a great video from Larry Jordan on the basics of colour correction - and using the scopes in FCPX to help you understand what’s actually happening when you colour correct. (Yep, colour, I'm in the UK!)
