From next week on, I have the luxury to work with a new iMac 5K, 4.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 32GB or with a MacPro 2013, 3,5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5, 64 GB. I will only work in FCP X and mainly multicam projects. Which one would you guys choose?

Hi blazer
You don't actually say what type of codecs and how many streams you will be working on, but most likely either computer would work fine.
Given the choice, I would like to give the new iMac a go. The monitor alone would sway my choice, but the new CPU GPUs in the 5K iMacs should be faster, then you have TB3 and USB3.1 gen2 all upgrades over the MP.
All I got to say is lucky you for having to pick, or is life hard with such choices? :silly:
Have fun, Greg
