Exporting stills with more pixels was created by danny klim
Hi, i used final cut pro x to create a detailed picture to use as a cover photo. I'm trying to upload it to youtube but youtube is saying that it needs to be at least 2048x1152 pixels. I tried creating a new project in final cut pro x with larger custom pixel dimensions, but whenever i export the picture to TIFF or PNG it goes back down to 1900x1080.
How can i make final cut pro x export the still with more exported pixels?
Thanks, Dan

you don't.
And that's some odd error from YT - never heard of, YT demands a poster-frame with a HIGHER res than the video (??)
Anyhow/solution to your problem:

Anyhow/solution to your problem:
- open your exported still with Preview
- goto Tools/Adjust Size
- enter your numbers, save new version...
