How to open "section" in list view in the Browser ? was created by mgo
Hi everybody...
Since FCPX.3 i can't open "sections" with any combination (+clic) in the Browser. It works in filmstrip mode but no more in list view.
Before FCP X.3 it worked like this small video:

Does anybody has an idea ?
Thank for your help ...

Really confused what you're doing. To open a disclosure triangle you don't need any key if you click. A simple click on the triangle will open and close it. You can also open it buy selecting the item and using the right arrow to open and the left to close.

Sorry i'm not clear enough
I would like to open/close ALL ...
It's still possible in filmstrip view (commande+clic ) but no more in list view... (since 10.3)
Thank for your help
martin
PS: not sure that using arrow give the ability to open a section . I think it works for items but not for "sections" (but it's another question)...

Select the event, then in list view, OPT+click on the top-most item called "Clips" -- all disclosure triangles in the event will open.

Thank for your help,
Yes it's a good thing to know. But my problem is not exactly this one. I don't need to open item in a section. I need to open ALL section in one clic as it was possible in the previous version of FCP X.
When you "group by" => "none" , in fact you have just one section called "Clips". And there no problem because there only one section...
But if you "group by" => "roles" or "camera angle" or so what, you can have several sections.
So my problem is to open ALL these sections. But it works only in filmstrip view not in list view since FCP X.3
When you used FCP X.2 (in the french version) you could open all section with alt+commande+clic and with command +clic in filmstrip view. As shown in this video ( vimeo.com/175843073 ) where clips are grouped by file type (you have a section for "Video Quicktime" file and another for "audio mp3" file).
i'm tired to switch to filmstrip view each time i need to close or open all section and go back to list view. The ability to close/open ALL sections is really helpful when you use the "group by" filtering functionality...
Thank for your help
