I can select them with my MIND! No I can't, wish I could...
C selects the clip in the Primary Storyline the playhead is over.
Up/down arrow to move playhead to previous or next clip, and C again will select those appropriately.
Cmd-up arrow will select the connected clip above it.
Cmd-down arrow will select the connected clip below it.
