Export clip name and TC to create EXCEL list was created by uli
I want to create a shortlist with clip names and TC to create a shortlist in excel without typing all these infos.
But I don´t find a way to do it, no EDL export or something like that.
Who can help me?

thx, looks nice, but costs 110 € - and in my case I would be happy with an EDL or copy and paste solution...

What you can do on your own, without extra software, is to export XML.
You'll have to figure out exactly what you want to export (the project? the event?) and choose the appropriate metadata view so that the required information gets out to the XML file.
Then you'll have to glean that info from the XML into a csv file or something like it, that you can open in Excel. Doable, if you know a little scripting, and can find your way in the XML.
But it is a lot of work.
The guys at Intelligent Assistance have apparently done the work (and Producer's Best Friend is a much more versatile and powerful tool), so it's up to you to decide if it suits you, and if the price is right, for what you need.
