I should be able to export out from within a compound clip, right?

Hi folks,
I appear to be bumping into a lot of bugs lately - all of which I am reporting. I am about to send this one to Apple but first I wanted to make sure I wasn't just going crazy. I should be able to bounce out from within a compound clip, right?
Demo below...

Try opening the compound clip from the browser and exporting from there.

Thanks Tom - yes I can and I appreciate the suggestion but that isn't the question. I believe I should be able to export out from within a compound clip from the timeline?
Has that behaviour changed recently? Or am I going crazy thinking it ever behaved that way?

You can export a compound clip from inside a project, but that's not what you're showing. You're showing a project of far more complexity with multiple embedded compounds. I can't test the specifics of your technique without the details of the content and the media, but a compound clip made in a project can be opened from the project into the timeline and a segment of it can be exported.

I disagree that complexity is likely to impact the principle I am asking about which is "Should I be able to export from a compound clip in the project timeline".
I use compound clips within compound clips all the time. I have come to think of it like a "fourth dimension" of editing. I am constantly amazed at how little impact on performance compounds within compounds exhibits in FCPX and I use them to hold things temporarily as a group (commend-g) and then bust them open again with Shift-command-g when I want to access their components again.
I also liberally use titles in compounds for animation purposes using tools like mBehaviour.
I guess what I am saying is that I don't expect the complexity of this particular project to have an impact on the principle at hand which is weather I am seeing expected behaviour or a bug that I should be reporting.
I'm 90% sure it's a bug, but am throwing it out here just to make sure.
Also this is not the first time I have seen this...

Update: Now...having just typed the above it occurred to me that I am a bit of a moron
I could just as easily test this on another project or library. I started by testing another project in the same library.
There are four levels of compound clips in this example. first, second and third levels all exported from the timeline as expected. The fourth did not. Just the same as in my example video it exported the correct amount of time but in the top level compound clip.
So I uncompounded that, then re-compounded and tried the export again. What do you know? It worked! The level of compound-within-compound had no impact as expected.
OK - so I have answered my initial question: Yes, in theory you should be able to do this (regardless of complexity)
So it seems that at some point that compound clip become corrupted (for want of a better word) perhaps when I last made a snapshot duplicate.
Could that be the result of complexity? Possibly.
I will send all this off to apple as feedback and leave this post here for anyone else to contribute to if they are having a similar issue.

I can confirm a Compound Clip bug in the current release of FCPX. I have a Compound that has music and a voice over recording. That compound is inside the Compound Clip of the 1:30 TV spot. It always exports without the voice over audio. Music plays fine, all video levels play fine, but the voice never comes out in the final export. Copy/paste to a new Compound, it works. Yes, there is a bug.

The audio out problem I've seen in projects as well. Not sure if that's unique to compounds. Did you see any of this time shifting Ben?

No time shifting, just missing audio pertaining to a specific role.
