Plugin System Location

Hi guys. I'm having and issue and hoping someone can help.

To combat effects going offline among the team of us who share projects around the office, we've had to move our motion templates folders into:

HD > Library>Application Support>Final Cut Pro>Templates>

This instead of the default local location in the movies folder. This means that when we pick up projects that have third party plugins applied by other users, they work, can be identified by the system and therefore edited.

I've recently shifted mine out during a system restoration and now when I move my motion templates (effects etc) into the library location...FCP does not automatically reference it. Instead it warns me to restart the application and generates a new Motion templates folder within the movies folder with 0 effects. How do I tell FCP to look for the effects within the location in my library?
