FCP 10.3.3 zooming my dvds

Hello out there;

We make a lot of DVDs for various reasons. Have just up graded to FCPX10.3.3. Made a DVD, tested it on the tv and DVD player we used last time, and now it zooms in as if the tv is set to zoom.

checked all settings on TV and DVD player but nothing had changed. The only thing that had changed was me upgrading to Sierra 10.12.4 and FPCX 10.3.3

So i shared out the vid from the updated machine, took it to another editing machine that had not been updated, made a DVD... and it played as expected.

So, am i doing something wrong or has the upgrade indeed changed something?

Not sure why you got this.
I just tried sharing to dvd on my mac (Final Cut Pro 10.3.3, macOS Sierra 10.12.4) and it worked just fine.

In order to test early and avoid wasting discs, you can share to dvd and save to a disk image file (under Settings, choose "Hard Drive" as device). Then you can test right on your mac with DVD Player, without burning a disc.
If everything is all right, then you can burn the disk image (control-click, choose Burn right there in the Finder).

what we've decided to do is since there seems to be no answer out there, we'll just keep one editing bay locked to the past that way the future world works just as it use to!
