How to edit consolidated Motion generators

I share a video library hard drive with other users. I thought I would try using FCPX's new ability to consolidate Motion content within the library so that we can always be sure that those generators are available to other editors.

The consolidation was easy, but it is unclear to me how our editors would make any changes to the Motion file if needed. I know where the Motion content lives inside the Library bundle, but I do not see where it lives in the FCPX app.

Under the old model, I'd find it in the Generators tab, then right-click to open in Motion and edit. How do I do that once it's consolidated? It seems bad standard of work to open the bundle itself and launch from there.

Once it's consolidated, you do the same thing. Right-click in the Generators tab, Open In Motion.

You may want to change what's being listed from "Installed" to the project specific templates.
