Transition acceleration removal

Is there any way of removing the acceleration/deceleration from transitions? I'm using a minute-long clock wipe but don't want the 'ease in' and 'ease out'. Need it to be completely linear.

If that parameter isn't published, you'll have to open it in Motion and change it there. Are you familiar with altering templates in Motion?

Yeah, as far as I can see there is no option to open that particular transition (clock wipe) in Motion. Unless I have missed something. Ctrl click on transition does not bring up the 'Open In Motion' option.

This is, unfortunately for you, correct.
Not all FCPX effects allow to be opened in Motion.
Pure speculation: those are internally based upon QTQuartz-animations => can not be 'adjusted' with Motion.-
In this case, it shouldn't be too difficult to build your version own version of a circle-wipe in Motion - with or without ease-in/-out …

Thanks. I ended up downloading an analog clock and using that instead. Not as stylish as what I wanted to achieve with the wipe but what the client preferred and a happy client is what we need to feed the family. Cheers.
