Hey!

Editing a multicamof a live show I filmed recently...

If I start playback in the middle somewhere... audio is faded into normal volume... and waveforms also showweird curves that are not there in the audio you hear... But on export all is fine... anyone else getting this?

See attached picture... that is continuous audio...

I have also just ran into this odd bug on a recent project. Not sure what triggered it. It's the first time I had it happen since updating to 10.3.3. Also noticed whenever I would playback any spot in the music piece it would have a slight fade up (maybe a second or two) until it reached normal volume. It didn't matter where I started playback and even though there were no keyframes or fade up/down handles, it would always take 1-2 seconds to reach normal volume of the edit. Everything was fine upon final export though. Very odd bug. I haven't tried deleting the preferences yet, maybe that would fix it.

That's exactly how it is for me as well... The odd waveforms actually has nothing to do with the sound... And if there's an edit before the audio has reached full volume, it jumps to full volume when the new angle is starting... making you think you have a bad edit... (even though audio is same). Very very odd.

Trashed prefs... same thing... but also affecting the export now!

And it's a 5-6 second fade-up!

What the hell is going on???

Reverted back to 10.3.2 and now it's behaving normally...

Except... Transitions override the the audio fade, WTF!!! It used to be that if you changed the audio fade that overrides the "transition fade"... not anymore it seems!

I had the waveform bug and a more serious one while trying to edit secondary storylines. After trying everything to make it work, I moved back to 10.3.2 and everything is back to normal, waiting for 10.3.4 now.

No, it's still there!

But here it what happens: If you have a transition (Cmd-T, standard dissolve) at the beginning of the clip, it uses that audio fade no matter where you start playback in the clip... remove the transition and audio playback starts imediately as expected... WEIRD!

Please can someone try this and confirm?
(I'm editing a multicam clip that uses the audio from 2 angles, at same time, not switching between audio)

CONFIRMED. This happens in the Primary and Secondaries. Good grief! I've filed a bug report.
