Can't Upgrade from 10.3.1 to 10.3.2 was created by CMessineo
I have a machine with a legal copy of FCP downloaded from the App Store and it's on version 10.3.1.
I want to update it to 10.3.2, but that option is not showing for me in the App Store. It shows that I have FCP installed on this machine, but it won't show the 10.3.2 update.
Any suggestions on why this is happening and how I can fix it?
Thanks,
Chris

I don't know why this happens sometimes but it does. Hide the current version in the trash and download again from the Purchased page of the App Store.

Thanks for the quick reply, but what do you mean exactly by "hide the current version in the trash"?
How am I doing that?

Select it in the Applications folder and press Cmd-delete to move it to the trash.

Oh, wow, you literally want me to delete the whole thing.
Okay, I will give that a try.

Don't empty the trash, just move it there.
You can also compress it first if you like before moving it to the trash.

Why am I not deleting the trash?
Don't I need to download a whole new copy to get the new version (after I've done the deletion)?
Sorry to be so dense and thanks again for the help.

Just in case there's a problem with the download. The App Store can get hinky. I'd just like to be safe, make sure the app downloads ok, and launches properly.
