Hi
Is there any way I can preview my clips in the import window when using a XF105?

As I have many clips and seem to have to look in every folder at each clip rather than them all appearing on the import window.

I usually plug in camera and copy off SD card to a folder on my mac to archive footage first.

Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for any help guys.

It looks like you have the right folder structure there. Try using Command-A to select everything in the window and then tap the right cursor arrow key. This should pop open all of the folders so that you can see your files.

I haven't kept current on this, but a couple of years ago when I still used an XF100, an additional plugin from Canon was required. Is this still the case?

Will go and have a look at Canon website. Does this then show all clips from inside the folder in FCPX viewer?

www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/hom...C0L88RB0AMD0F1Q42K25

Scroll down to Drivers & Downloads and click on "Software"

There is still a plugin and it was actually updated as recently as December. That should fix you up.
