googleing for 'FCPX speech bubble' , spits out several options, e.g. this free one from board member f-mahoney
www.fcp.co/forum/9-free-fcpx-plugins-and...rtoon-speech-bubbles

rippletrainings callouts contain speech bubbles too.

Finally, you can draw one, export it as a png, and add it to your project....

The easiest might be to use what's built in in FCPX. Look in your Titles under Elements.

thanks everyone for your advice

i watched a few youtube videos and when I go to the area where the callouts are supposed to be
they are not there
i dont seem to have a lot of effects, transitions and generators installed and i paid full price for my fcpx
i just seem to have basic ones in there
i couldnt even find a fireworks effect in there which i thought should be there as its kinda basic stuff

is there a plugin package i could purchase that anyone can recommend
ive formed the opinion that this is what ill need to do :P

Under the Apple logo (top left) there's a dropdown menu with Download Additional Content. Have you tried that?

Nope, not in the Apple menu. It's in the "application menu", the one titled "Final Cut Pro". But yes, run the Download Additional Content command for sure. Do this for Motion and Logic Pro X if you have either of those, also.

Lots of Youtube videos show the old version of FCP X UI. The Titles and Generators Browser has relocated to the upper left corner of the UI in the newest 10.3.x version.
