clip creation date

Hello Together,

since the last FCPX update I can't see my creation date of the clips anymore, it shows me now the import date which has little value for me to keep stuff in sequential order. How can I show the creation date on top

I went to edit view and added quite a few items which came up under date but non of them seems to be the creation date.

I would think creation date is important for quite a few people not sure why apple changed this

I always use the Creation Date in the Browser's list mode. But it is odd that the Inspector now shows mod date and not creation date, and creation date isn't included in the list of metadata the Inspector has access to. Feedback form time.

Is Date Time Original or Recording Date not the creation date?

Recording Date is audio specific, used by Spotlight, found in the Audio category of the metadata view editor.

Date Time Original is EXIF metadata that is specific to photography.

Neither are the same thing as Content Creation Date, which is specifically when was that digital file originally written. Add them and you'll not see any information there for a video file.

unfortunately not for me added Audi recording date but because it's Drone footage it has no audio recording



but even for DSLR with sound recording it will show nothing
