Treasure text from Motion into FCPX 10.3.2

Hi, I have an old golden text generator from motion 4 I believe. The directory is Treasure.Itif with the following files.
- data
- Preview.mp4 (this is the golden text video)
- proxy
- sfnt

Is it possible to save this file into motion 5 and have it as a recurring custom text?

I doubt the "data" and "sent" and "proxy" files will be recognized by Motion 5. But it shouldn't be too difficult to recreate it in M5. Screen shot?

Hi FCPX.Guru! It was really nice gold text back in the Motion 3 & 4 era. I think live type might have had it too. I would love to get that title generator in Motion 5 and then in FCPX as custom text below are snap shots. Thank you for the help!

The gold text can be seen in this video I made for someone in 2011. The gold text appears at the 1:17 mark.

Treasure was an ancient Livetype font, was it not? You would need to create the text you want in Livetype or ye olde Motion 4, maybe even Motion 3. I have not been able to get any of my old LiveType stuff to work for many years, trashed it all long ago.

that's an easy one in Motion5, and imho, even better looking - use the 3D text:



to make it glitzy & shine, keyframe/rate the Environment/Rotation parameter… to make it less golden and more yellowish like in your example, tweak the material/colour settings …

Add some (animated) Glint filter, …



… and you sell palaces :silly:

Yes, Livetype stuff is so old, so outdated, and creating this stuff in M5 is so easy now, as Karsten so kindly shows us. I'd not go back to LiveType for anything. Custom 3D text is simply way to easy in M5 now. And MUCH better looking!

But no, M5 dropped support for the ancient and limited LiveType stuff.
