Doubt: Which web browser displays video accurately (color and gamma?)

Does anyone have any insights on which web browser displays video correctly? Safari or Chrome on the Mac?
I used to find that on YouTube, during the HTML 5 and Flash transition period, that the Flash player on YouTube would over saturate colors in comparison to HTML 5.
(I usually have my monitor "calibrated" using the built in Apple Display calibrator with standard 2.2 gamma)
I'm frustrated that Safari and Google Chrome seems to have a gamma shift? Which browser is correct? Or am I just going crazy.
