Audio work isn't traveling with project between libraries.

I have copies of the same library at home and at work, but the audio work I've done on the edit aren't traveling with the edit. When I copy (drag from one event to the other) the project from my portable hard drive to the work computer, all of the audio channels I shut off, levels, loudness, etc aren't showing up in the work copy.
Any ideas?

I have just tested this and I cannot reproduce what you describe. Whatever audio settings and configurations I change in the project of the main library on my computer get transferred over to the same library on my external drive when I copy the project from one event into the other.
Just a wild guess, but are you sure your portable drive is formatted correctly?

Test exporting the Project as an FCPXML and see what happens.
