I have an iMac 27" from mid 2016 and a MacBook Pro from mid 2012. iMac on Sierra and MacBook on El Capitan. Both Mac's are on FCPX 10.3.2.
Working on both computer worked just fine until I used ColorFinale on a clip when working on my MacBook . When switching to iMac, FCPX crashed when it was loading the project. Tried several times. Always crashing. When I removed the effect (ColorFinale) on the MacBook, it worked on the iMac. So, the effect was causing the problem.

Any reason why it won't work?

Need to check that. But it works the other way.If I apply effect on iMac it works fine one Macbook. Not the other way around.

Edit: No, not at all the same version. Older version on iMac. Weird, since that one is the newest one. but I think I used the installation file from the first download, which makes sense in terms of the crash. And newest version doesn't work on older version, but vice versa it works. Updating now.
