slipping clip using nudge makes playhead snap to the clip's start

Hello,
I am cutting a music video. So I place my playhead over a beat I need to sync a frame to. Then I try to slip a clip (I have the trim tool selected) using the nudge commands to have the frame I want on the beat where my playhead is.
Problem, whenever I do that the playhead snaps back to the clip's start and I don't see the frame I need anymore.
Any idea how I solve that guys ?
Thanks.

which version of FCPX and what command are you using? the UP arrow is "previous" and it will take you to the previous edit in the timeline. The nudge commands are different :
With the current selection, you can also slip the clip with keyboard shortcuts by doing either of the following:
Nudge the start and end points (one frame or 10 frames) to the left or right.
Enter an amount of time to slip the clip left or right.
Nudge Left
Comma (,)
Nudge the selection one unit to the left
Nudge Left Many
Shift-Comma (,)
Nudge the selection 10 units to the left
Nudge Right
Period (.)
Nudge the selection one unit to the right
Nudge Right Many
Shift-Period (.)
Nudge the selection 10 units to the right

Hello,
I use FCPX 10.3
I want to do a slip edit, so have the trim tool activated. Click once on the clip and press , or . to slip nudge ... which it does, but somehow it also relocates the playhead to the clip's start instead of leaving it in place.

Just tried it, I get that behavior also. Wasn't like that before. Fill out the feedback form, that's a BUG!

confirmed.
slipping by keys makes the playhead jump to clip start.
tried a Marker as workaround - for sure, that slips too.... silly me :silly:
