Is there a "Play From Last Locate Position" In FCPX?

Hi. New to FCPX and looked for this in all menus. In Logic Pro X, there is a "Play From Last Locate Position". If I place the playhead somewhere (i.e. 000:001), if I press play and then stop, the playhead returns to where I originally placed it rather than where it stops.

Is this option available in FCPX?

I'm a former Vegas (Movie Studio Platinum) user and this option exists by default in that program.

By the way, I did a Google search and did not come across information on this.

There are ways that are similar but not exactly as you describe.

- select a clip and press / and the playhead will return to the beginning of the selected clip and play. If you have loop play selected (CMD L) it'll repeat.

- Draw out a range that spans the area you want and press SHIFT ? and it will do the same with the range you've selected. CMD L applies here too.

Your options are listed under View>Playback

Hope this helps.

Correction:
Shift ? (Shift /) will play from where the playhead is based on the Pre-Roll and Post-Roll settings in Preferences. It is the Play Around command. It will jump left the amount set for Pre-Roll, then playback past its original position, for the Post-Roll duration, stop, jump back to its original position. Even if a range is selected.

/ by itself will playback the selected clip or range.
