OK so I had to shoot a video for someone who wants their stuff at 23.98fps. Changed the camera but forgot to change the Atomos. As a result I have 29.97fps 1080i ProRes files with coming every few frames. What's the best way to get rid of this and create new, 23.98 ProRes files? There's gotta be a way.

Compressor, does a great job at transcoding frame rates. Set "Retiming Qualities" to Best (Motion Adaptive) and turn on "Adaptive details". I've always had the best results form Compressor for this. But, it's really going to depend on the quality of the original. Garbage in = garbage out. I would test a only a few minutes of various segments with various Retiming Qualities settings and see what the results are.

Thanks! That worked great! At first Compressor kept failing near the end but once I unchecked "Allow Job Segmenting" all was fine.
