Hi,
I'm in the process of wrapping up my first project in FCP X, and it will soon be time to deliver it. As a part of the delivery process, I have to send in a file with 4 audio tracks - stereo 1 & 2, mono 3 & 4. I'm hoping that someone on the forum can provide some guidance on how to accomplish this using audio lanes....
Thanks in advance for your help,
Aaron

What you want to do is achieved in the Share window with Roles, not necessarily Lanes in the Timeline. But they're related. Lanes help you mix the audio. In the Share dialogue window you can assign multiple audio channels.
When you export a Master File, you can assign your audio Roles to channels in the resulting QT file. It is called a Multitrack QuickTime. Very simple.
