We have just finished working on a wedding movie on our windows PC on Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
Now, I need to color grade it, so I need to import the whole project to my FCPX on my macbook pro.

So, I went to premiere pro cc in my windows computer and did export to XML.

Then went to FCPX and when I try to import that XML, it doesnt read the XML.

What did I miss ?

IS there any special settings required for importing Premiere Pro CC's exported XML to FCPX ?

according to mastermind Larry Jordan, you miss a 'translation' tool:

Yes, the PPro XML file has to be translated to an FCPXML file. The two are VERY different versions of XML. And in PPro, a lot of things won't translate (effects, retiming, etc).

You need the "SendtoX" app. No way aground it.
