FCPX Hang on Launch

FCPX Hang on Launch was created by cog2803
System in use:
MacPro (Mid 2012)
OS10.12.2
FCPX 10.3.2 (but also occurs on 10.3.1)
2x3.06 GHZ 6-Core processor
64GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7xxx 3072MB graphics card
Problem occurs with primary user admin account and temporary admin account.

FCPX will load from either icon on the bottom tool bar or from finder. However, as soon as mouse is moved, within five seconds I get the spinning beachball and nothing else happens.

If I right click on the bottom tool bar icon before opening and select a library from the recent list, the library will begin to load and will even load a project into the timeline and will show events and folders in the browser . . . but will still hang after about five seconds.

The right click display will show Application not responding and my only option is to force quit.

I've tried multiple libraries and all deliver the same result.

I deleted the app and pertinent files and downloaded fresh from the app store - realizing after the fact that I was downloading 10.3.2 and after installing I was able to open the app, open a library and maneuver around. This was on Saturday and I thought all was well.

Today, the issue still presents itself. All other apps on the machine open properly including the new versions of Motion and Compressor which I downloaded today when I got in.

At this point I'm sort of dead in the water - other than doing another delete and reinstall.

Any Ideas?

One other item: When I try to Delete Preferences by holding down Command/Option and selecting FCPX it will hang at that point as well.

Download "FCS Remover" to remove the app totally, I'd never trust doing it manually.

But, if you did a total reinstall and have the same issue, I'm thinking it is something else. So here's a few things to try right off the bat.

1- Verify all drives (especially the system drive) have at least 15% or more of their total capacity left as free space.
2- Run Disk Utility and repair all drives.
3- Run Disk Warrior (3rd party) to repair the directory on all drives.
5- Create a new regular user and try launching FCPX with libraries (wait, you tried this already, never mind).

So I reset the NVRAM and that seemed to do the trick . . . for today. From what I've read, if the issue continues and resetting NVRAM is needed further down the road it it might be related to the battery on the logic board.

From an Apple Support page:
"If issues related to these features continue on a desktop Mac (like an iMac, Mac mini or Mac Pro), its logic board battery might need to be replaced. The logic board battery on desktop computers helps retain NVRAM settings when your Mac is unplugged.?
