FCPX Titles show then disappear after background render was created by gmhorse
Hello everyone. I recently upgraded to FCPX 10.3. I am using Sierra 10.12.2 OS.
When dropping a title over a clip the title shows up just fine. However as soon as the background render completes it disappears from the footage. the placeholder remains on the timeline but it doesn't show in any of the footage or exports. If I move it slightly on the timeline it shows on the footage once again until the background render is complete. Then is gone again.
I have done a complete delete including all folders and plist files with a fresh install. The problem is still there.
If I install my older version 10.1.4 everything works fine. Here is a screen recording to show the problem. Am I able to post a link to the video here?

Your screen recording must be too large to upload to the forum, it is not showing up.
Did you delete pref files by launching FCPX while holding the option and command keys together? I'd only do i that way.
Did you run disk utility to repair your drives?
Do you have at least 15 percent free space on each connected drive (especially the OS drive)?
Are you updated to FCPX 10.3.2?
What Mac model/year, how much RAM, drive configurations?
Can you verify you have background rendering turned off in the preferences?

He double-posted. The link is in the older posting:

It's a riddle to me. Couldn't reproduce it.
