Remove black in synced clips

Remove black in synced clips was created by StefanS
I have synced my audio with Sync-N-Link X and now my synced clips turn out black at start and end. Suddenly I'm no longer able to enjoy that famous FCPX-overview in the browser since many of the thumbnails are exposed as black.
I am now going thru each clip rejecting the black part, but it takes forever since it's hours of hours of material.
Does anyone know of an easier way to remove the black parts of synced clips?

Turns out this was actually a Sync-N-Link question.
FYI:
Once you import the xml of the synced clips from Sync-N-Link you'll get a new (or optional updated) event. And inside that event Synk-N-Link makes keyword collections as "Synced", "Not Synced", Audio Roles etc which is great. But what I did was to delete these keyword collections (to make it less cluttered) only relying on the event itself and that's when you'll get the clips displayed with the entire audio file, making the start and the end of the clips black.
