corrupt project file within FCPX library

corrupt project file within FCPX library was created by Ivo
I have a feature film that is approaching picture lock. In my library there are 3 projects. The main movie timeline, the one I've been working on, corrupted on restart of FCP. It now crashes the app on start every time.
I am desperate to get to the XML code for this one project, but can't do so because I cannot open the library.
I have tried to:
delete FCP preferences
delete CurrentVersion.fcpevent
but still it crashes.
STrangely, all Final Cut Backups for that library, about 10 days worth of files, also crash, even though only the latest should be corrupted.
Is there any way I can get to the XML file without opening the library?
Thanks so much for any ideas!

Assuming that you have exported the XML file from your timeline when the project was working, you can try to find it by right clicking on the library in the finder and select "show package contents". Then navigate and see if you can locate the XML file (I'm not exactly sure where it gets placed) but you can view every folder and file in the library.
If that doesn't work, if you have Digital Rebellion's Pro Maintenance Tools you can try the utility to repair corrupt projects and libraries. This works pretty well to make your projects open again most of the time, and I believe they have a fully functional 10 day trial.

I am having the same problem.
I'm curious to hear if you found a solution?
Cheers
