What were you doing, and what was the result, besides this error message?

Exporting a project to a Compressor MPEG-2 preset. The results were variable. I would get the error message and a playable file that was only part of the project starting from the beginning and then finishing randomly before the end of the project.
The thing that's confusing is it is not consistent. Sometimes the same project will export fine. Other times it will take a long time and end up with this error message and a partial file. It's also happened with other projects so it doesn't appear to be specific to this one.
I am going through troubleshooting steps and just wanted to know if anyone had seen this particular error message because I haven't found any reference to what it means. I am still looking.

I've no clue what it means, not sure anyone could pin point it. After any (rare for me) failed Compressor jobs, I always go to the Preferences, Advanced, and Cancel All Jobs and then Repair Compressor. Usually works fine after that.

If the built in Compressor repair doesn't work, use Digital Rebellions Compressor repair within Pro Maintenance Tools if you have it. They may have a standalone free version also. I have had instances where that solved problems while the Compressor built in repair did not. I have never seen your specific error code as mine have always been "Qmaster folder could not be found". But, Compressor seems to need periodic repairs (trashing prefs, window layouts, restarting Qmaster, etc.) all of which DR's Compressor repair seems to do nicely. Backup any custom presets you might have before using this.
