10.3 Libraries Don't Remember their Open/Closed State in the Browser
Next to each library in the browser is a little triangle that you can open or close. Up until 10.3 FCP would remember the state of each of these. But now, every time I open FCP every library is Open, which makes the browser messy and I spend the first minute working in FCP closing them all again and then opening the one I want to work on.
Is this a bug, a design change, or am I just doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Chris

I don't know if it's the same issue, but since Sierra (and therefore FCP 10.3.1), I'm always asked for the path of my (unique) library, everytime I launch FCP.
Quite boring !!!

maybe this is helpful: go to systempreferences under the apple menu
open the first columne 'general'.
Probably you have chosen 'used objects' = none
change it to 5 or 10 or more.
FCPX will now remember your library.

oops, that's a verdict!! I know several people, waiting to update, FCPX and/or OS until you say 'save' … When I tell them …
too late for me - aside the well-known flaws (vanishing clip names, inconsistent UI color scheme, etc) I'm fine … but solo-flying hobbyist speaking here …
