Updating a Library to 10.3.1 just keeps crashing was created by fb_593052523

I'm attempting to upgrade a 10.2.3 Library to 10.3.1 and during the Library upgrade FCPX just keeps crashing. The library has a few projects and less than 300 video clips (ProRes sources). The media is external. This happens on multiple Macs running 10.12.2 macOS Sierra. Any ideas on what I can try?
