iMovie events into fcpx without reimporting whole files? was created by Schnurr
Hi,
is there a way to "import" iMovie events/libraries into FCPX without having to reimport the whole raw media? I would love to keep the original media in iMovie lib and just make reference to those into fcpx. Trying to import iMovie lib they are greyed out and would like to avoid to manually add roughly 4TB data again via "show package content -> event name -> original media...
And idea ?

I'm afraid not. FCP won't access the iMovie library, and unfortunately, AFAIK iMovie doesn't allow external media.
