Static sounds when using pitch was created by magnus.blomdahl
Hi!
Editing a film in Final Cut Pro X. Mixing sound 44khz and 48 khz, unfortunately. My problem is that my subject in this film needs to have his voice a bit disturbed, so I'm using the pitch effect. This causes static sound in between the cuts between 44khz and 48khz.
Is there any other effect I could use to disturb his voice without getting unwanted disturbances?
Is there ANY way to convert 44khz into 48khz in Final Cut Pro X, without having to export to Pro Tools or some other sound program?
Thanx!

Sounds like you're getting noise on the edit points, which can happen. Quick & dirty solution; put that group of audio clips into a Compound Clip, apply the effect tomthebCC. I've had success doing that in the past. Other solution, place fades at the head & tail of each clip.
