Selecting Timeline and connected clips without Mouse ? was created by frezeo
Hi FCPX Experts, Is there any shortcut to select a connected clip the way we use the C key ? There was a work around posted before, but it wasn't perfect. If there are two clips of the same length, one placed over the other at the same position edge to edge, and if I want to select the above clip using the C key It would not select the above clip..It would have been nice if such option was there in FCPX. e.g shift+C or press C twice or use the arrow keys...Does FCPX 10.3 has this option ?

The C key will select a connected clip if you put the pointer over it. Cmd-up and down arrows will let you select items above and below a selected clip. This is available in 10.3.
