Proxy workflow
Is there a way to move your proxy files within FCPX to another hard drive?
I know that you had to delete and then regenerate the proxy files in order to move them in the previous version,
but how about 10.3?
I'm working on a large project and it will take forever to regenerate.
Someone with experience?

I actually just did this with my project at work. Im working on a project with 4k files and took the proxy files home to work on over the weekend.
You would have to create a library on the hard drive that you want to take and the transfer the events over to that library. A prompt would ask if you would want to transfer just optimized/proxy or both. Just click proxy and now you'll have a proxy hd to work on. Make sure you created the proxy files though first.
When you're ready to move back to the original files. Just move over the project file over.
That's how I do it. not sure if anyone else has a better workflow.
