What effects and plugins are used to create this video
I am brand new to using Final Cut Pro. I have used Adobe Premier in the past. But need some help with getting plugins / addons to edit videos
I want to replicate this corporate video and I am sure there are some FCP gurus on this forum that might be able to help out.
Here are some of the things I would like to know
1) Intro background
2) How to get a graph
3) Getting the logo / banner on bottom left with name
4) Getting the faded black screen to appear on the right (has a grid)
5) Getting the text with the quotes to come up with that style
6) At 0:33 how to get the chart graphic to appear and each graphic to draw and animate
7) At 0:45 how to get graphics to appear (is the a catalogue of graphics can choose from )
Sorry if these questions sound trivial but if I can get some help on what plugins etc to use to create that above effects that will be great
Thank you in advance
Paul

sorry to sound grumpy (just look at my avatar…) for a start but re-enacting those designs is by far not trivial, nor a beginners task.
Simple asked: how would you have done it in AP? … same in FCPX, three options:
• you find a ready-made template package with exactly the same look (hint: ask the makers your example)
• you use a 3rd party, motion-graphic tool, for AP it was AfterEffects, for FCPX and much easier Motion5
• you fumble around with stacks of lanes & compounds & keyframes in FCPX …
Watched your example carefully - no rocket-science, easy to accomplish in FCPX alone or In Motion (I'm a plugin maker…).
I'd recommend Motion for simple purpose: effect once done - used many.
But, again, not for a 'first!' project.
For convenience, video mastermind Alex Gollner offers a package of drop-to-animatie plugins
www.fcp.co/final-cut-pro/articles/1747-a...nimation-transitions
… but not for free, that is tons of work.
soo, a) you're a quick learner, and you teach yourself, how easy it is to slam a few behaviours together, to move, dissolve, zoom etc graphics or b) you give that external = $$$, if not $$$$
sorry of being less 'constructive' but re-engineering existing stuff is a painful time-consuming process, …

I was wondering if anyone else did know if there is an out of the box plugin(s) that are similar to those used in the video
Thanks in advance

At 1:23 how to get logo like the Yellow line to animate as if it is being drawn
…
- what bg? you want a grey like that? color-picker?
- horizontal wipe over a on-transparent-graphic.png
- that lower third is again mainly a feathered horizontal wipe, done In Motion in lli' time
- keyframe a cropped colour-solid, set opacity
- keyframe transformation/scale
- horizontal wipe over a on-transparent-graphic.png
- catalogue of graphics, as 'select from a drop-down-menu'? asks for 'rigging' => senior class trickery in Motion5
- horizontal wipe over a on-transparent-graphic.png
addendum: lots of motion-blur … excellent done! Published a plugin for that, at last:
www.fcp.co/forum/film-looks-effects/2563...-to-add-blur-in-fcpx
… no rocket-science but definitely no beginners task, esp, when it should 'mime' the original.
And no, haven't seen that at the usual places, such as www.motionvfx.com
