Duplicate install placement with FX Factory Plugins was created by Roadswitcher
Recently purchased Hawaiki Color via FX Factory and found out that not only it installed itself as expected in the Motion Templates/Effects Folder but also as a duplicate in the Titles folder.
And like a couple of other plugs from FX Factory, I can't remove the duplicate from my titles folder nor can I reorganize into different folders stuff blonging to the same author ( happens with Ripple Training plugs ) because after a restart of FCPX, FX Factory resets everything it's own (wrong) way.
Is there a way to manipulate the install log to get rid of this anomaly ? I usually prefer to place & organize my plugins manually but the commercial aspect of FX Factory doesn't allow for this. That makes me nonetheless furious to see the Hawaiki Color module stuck as a duplicate in the Titles Folder.
Any tricky ideas that might bring me back my sanity ?
Uninstall...reinstall...take a deep breath...get mad again at FX Factory ?
