Drop shadow title effect, where to find it

I am using FCPX 10.3.1 and I want to apply a drop shadow effect to a basic title. I could see the Inspector Drop Shadow check box in a previous FCPX release (can't remember which one), but now I cannot find DS or Glow in the Inspector.

Here is what the Inspector looks like. What am I doing wrong?

give FCPX a lil' slap on its back-head:
quit FCPX, hold cmd-opt in relaunch ... 'Delete Preferences'

You're in the Bideo inspector. You need to be in the Text inspector, one to the left.

jeez that simple, haven't noticed the obvious! :S

Thanks to everyone for your help! But unfortunately I still do not see the Drop Shadow selection when I enter the Text portion of the Inspector...what am I doing wrong?

Now you're in the Title inspector, that's two to the left of the Video inspector. You want to be in the Text inspector, which is the one between the Title inspector and the Video inspector.

Thanks Tom. Is this the correct window? I still don't see Drop Shadow.

I found it! Once I collapsed the Timeline I saw an expanded area below the Text Inspector. Now I see Drop Shadow and all the rest. I just needed to resize that window so it is visible with the Timeline is present.
