How to match color between multim clips

Hi all,

It probably is easy, but I don't see how to do this: I have a multicam clip and expand it, so I can edit the individual clips for color and lighting. I see the two clips, making up the multicam clip, in the time line. Now I want to match the color of the bottom clip to the color of the top clip. I select the bottom clip and press Match Color. I now see two windows in which I am supposed to be able to select the clip I want to use as the sample color. Unfortunately both windows are showing the same clip: the top clip. When I now click "apply match" it will use itself to match color.....
so there seems to be no way to select the bottom clip and apply the color of the top clip.

Does any of you know how to do this ?

Thanks

Skim over the clip you want to match to and click on it. Press return.

At the risk of stating the obvious, it's also not really matching two clips, but matching an entire target clip to a selected frame from a 2nd clip. Thus which frame is selected in the "color picker" clip can make a significant difference in the overall look.

Yes, that is the theory. For multicam clips, though, there is an additional step: set the focus on the clip you want to correct the color of, if it is not the top one. In my case I wanted to correct the bottom clip of a multicam clip. To be able to do that I had to first set the focus on the bottom clip by clicking the small video icon in the top left corner of the clip. Default the top clip has the focus.
