XAVC Long GOP duplicate clips

Hey guys, the DP on the documentary I'm starting up switched cameras mid-shoot and so I'm dealing with a Sony FS5 vs an FS7 and this is the first time I've imported FS5 clips. When I import (and I've tried from a copy of the card and from a camera archive I created) I am getting duplicate clips. One mxf and one mov in the original media folder. I am also getting duplicate clips in the event. Is there a best practice for dealing with this camera? I'm on the latest OS an latest version of FCPX.

This seems like a bug. Importing from this camera back in June in 10.2.4 only created one .mov clip. I guess for now as a workaround I can just delete the MXF clips that are created.

I am seeing the same issue with XAVC. It looks like it is optimizing the rewrapped .MXF/.mov files as well as the original .MFX

FCP 10.3.2 on OS 10.11.6
