Adding links using Compressor was created by largeadam
Hi forum ! So, I bought compressor as advised, but I have read every page of the manual, searched high and low, but I cannot figure out how to add a simple hyperlink to my video..
Several have pointed me to poster frame and chapter markers...but when I send it batch I get nothing !!
It must be user error...what am I doing wrong?

What exactly are you doing? What isn't working? Details would help.

I follow the details in the procedure..
Create a marker in the clip, type either chapter or podcast
I add my HTTP link in URL box, i leave image set to frame. i have tested setting image to file..
I set the output type to H.264 and I have tried Quiktime as well..
My expectation is a clickable link where I want it in the clip, but after I run the batch, nada...Somewhere I read that I need to check a box to include markers...cannot see that..
If you can shed any light I will owe you a beer mate..

As in the manual:
"You can also assign a URL to a chapter marker to have that URL appear during playback of a podcast. "
"However, podcast marker names do not appear in the slideshow, and users cannot navigate to a podcast marker in the transcoded file. "
No, they are not "buttons". One simply shows the URL, one automatically triggers the URL.
Is this to go to YouTube? If so, use the YouTube tools to set these up after the file is uploaded there. I suggested this in your original post.
