Working with RAW files

Not sure if this is the right place for this topic but....... Ronny Courtens gave me a very in-depth workflow for raw files. I followed his suggestions. I converted the RAW files in RawMagic then tried to import them in to Resolve, but resolve won't import them. Ive been on every forum including BlackMagic forum and have received no info on this. I did come across several people saying Da Vince Resolve does not play well with MacBook Pro laptops for some reason.

I import the DNG files into Resolve but they are nowhere to be found. Mt hard drive icon appears in the upper left window but when I click on it no files appear. I really want to start shooting RAW on my 5D3, and learn this workflow, but I'm stopped in my tracks trying to import into Da Vince.

Are you on the latest version of resolve? I had an issue where resolve 11 wouldn't see any video files at all (2014 mac mini, not sure what os) and updating to 12 fixed it.

Yes, Resolve 12.5 I believe. I re installed it when I was having these issues.

Basically what I do is convert the MLV files in RawMagic to DNG files. Then I open Resolve go to import click on the DNG's and hit open. I go to resolve open the media tab and they are nowhere to be found, nor when I click on my hard drive do any files appear.

Is there any other option besides Da Vince Resolve that worksin the workflow in making RAW work?
