Audio Mute for ad delivery was created by CBlakeston
Hi Guys,
I'm working with a client to deliver ads in the UK for digital delivery over SKY and ITV Hub. I'm being asked for files with the last 6 seconds of audio muted. "Your file has audio in the last 6 frames (-31.6dBFS) please amend".
Can anyone advise? In my timeline there is no sound at this point. We've asked the delivery agency what they mean and how to do it, but all they'll say is 'we can fix for for £50 per ad'. Which seems kinda ridiculous.
Many thanks

I deliver to Adstream occasionally and it can be a real challenge to get it right initially.
They should be asking for the last 6 frames to be mute
Your audio should start +6 frames (i.e. 10:00:00:06) and end -6 frames from last frame of your Ad.
Check the file that you uploaded to them, it may be slightly different to your TL.
They've been pretty good at providing support over the phone when I've had issues.
