How do I set the video Tthumbnail

I'm setting up a kickstarter project. I spent a long time making a video and at 700Mb it took hours to upload. The thumbnail kickstarter pulls from my video is the dopiest look on my face possible. Is there anything I can do? Thanks

Is there some option in kisarter to be able to select your own poster frame? Youtube gives you a few options but don't know about KS

not that I can see. My project isn't live yet, so maybe there are more options when it's up. Googling this issue isn't turning up much.

The poster frame function disappeared in QT a few years ago. I don't know of any way to do it these days.

Some web designers use this workaround:
Paste a still frame on top of (or in place of) the video object on the page, The still frame is actually a hot link to the video viewer and automatically pushes the start button. Or something like that. I'm not an HTML guy.

Well, it turned out ok. The thumbnail disappeared and was replaced by the main project photo, so I got bailed out and also explains why searching for solutions to this problem didn't turn up much:
