Color Board

I'm using 10.3.1 with Sierra & my Color Board is unresponsive. I have the clip highlighted, but when I choose the Color Bar & adjust values I don't see any changes in the clip window. The number values change, when I move about, but I no changes visible. I am very new to FCPX as I'm not an editor by trade, but I've done this plenty times in the past & it worked fine. Thoughts ?

had that 'refresh' problem in 10.3 - any changes in the Color Board only visible when putting the mouse/cursor into timeline.
10.3.1 fixed it - at last for me …
Any details about your set-up?
Plain guessing: you're using an old MacPro/'cheese grinder'?
Or, is Quicktime7 installed?
And Welcome, Perry, to fcp.co

Thank you for the reply Karsten . . .
I went back in to play around some more & discovered the color board works perfectly fine with other clips in my project, which I should have done before - duh. But when I return to the original clip where the color board was unresponsive, it still gives me no changes in the viewer or the scopes, but the number values in the board do change. So . . . I guess the problem is with just that one clip, which was a 2-second b-roll shot from my iPhone 6s - several other quick iPhone shots are not problematic. Interesting. Anyway, not a big deal really as this is a personal project & I can work around it. Regardless, glad I put this out there for others to see, and also as it was the impetus for me to join fcp.co
ps: I have a newer iMac. And QT 10.4

Thanks for feedback…
One last question: can you open that specific clip in Quicktime Player (X), cmd-i, and check its frame rate?
There are frequently reports of issues with iPhone material, due to its varying frame rates (under low light, the fps drops) ... would be interesting if this is the cause … (don't ask me how or why fps and colour board are related! )
