Multicam bug?

Multicam bug? was created by Overturf
Hi guys!
I have a multicam clip with four angles. Two angles are native 4K, the other two the same source but zoomed in to 200%.
When put stuff in the project and then watch it, things are fine and I can see the four angles in the angle viewer as expected (Screenshot 1).
If I then try to switch a whole chunk in the project from say angle 1 to angle 2 (the zoomed in equivalent), I get a weird result: The angle viewer zooms into all the four angles. I can not see the whole picture anymore (Screenshot 2). This only happens when altering an existing chunk of video in the project without adding a new cut (I do this by using ALT+angle#).
If I instead blade to a new angle, the angle viewer works as expected (Screenshot 3).
Hope this is understandable. Does anyone else experience this? It's annoying, really. Especially if you are sitting next to the client that you want to overwhelm with the ease of FCPX's multicam
FWIW, I edit with proxies at the moment. The full source material is not with me right now so I could not check if that makes a difference. I have used this method to blow up my 4K for additional angles a multitude of times, so far without any problems. Could be 10.3 or Sierra.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Sebastian

Yes, I see something that is identical, sort of. From time to time the viewer doesn’t zoom like in your example, but all angles are shown very small in the lower right corner of the angle window. Normal cutting is not possible anymore. It returns to normal usually after the next NEW cut. Don’t know what that means…

So can anyone at least replicate this behavior? I'm about to fill in feedback to Apple but would first like to know if others have this problem, too? Or is it my machine?
I updated to Sierra and 10.3 at the same time so I cannot really tell which change brought the problem.
Thanks,
Sebastian
