remove edit point of the same clip / remove blade cut was created by FCPman

Really simple one: I've got 1 clip. I cut it in half with the blade tool. Now I've got two clips. Later I decide that I want to "merge" those two clips to make it into one clip again / remove the edit point or remove the blade cut so that I just have ONE CLIP again. How do I do this?
I don't want to use the UNDO feature because I decide to merge the clips WAY later.

Select the edit point and press Delete.

Amazing! My problem was also that I was connected clips where it doesn't work unless I put them into a story line. Totally awesome to learn something new each time. Thank you very much.
