It looks like the FCPX 10.3.1 update is available...it appears to be nothing more than a maintenance/bug fix update.

I am grateful for maintenance/bug fix updates. I wish they would have fixed more but it's certainly better than nothing. I wonder if they fixed some that they didn't list on the update page.

I personally am happy to get smaller but more frequent updates/bug fixes, as opposed to waiting months (year?) for things to finally be fixed in a single big batch.

If you can implement something to fix/improve the app right now, without detriment, then it should be released now...not wait for some other massive issues to be worked out and then include it with that update, way down the line.

It's kind of the beauty of digital delivery and the app store...you can push an update just about whenever you want...why wait and keep your users dealing with existing bugs? Just IMO...

Also...can't be sure, but they generally seem to put in some under the radar improvements (stability, speediness, etc) in just about every update...hopefully that is still the case.

Adding custom Music / SFX libraries is still not working. Really wished that was fixed in this update...

The SFX folder thing bugs me too. But I tried bringing all of my SFX into a new "Stock Sounds" Library, which can be mounted any time I need SFX or other stock audio I have. The advantage of this is that I can pre-determine which material is SFX and which is music for roles. One big annoyance is the line spacing in the text inspector not working correctly. Sure wish they'd fix that. I was hoping this update might have addressed it. But no...
